The group will meet at Thirsk Hall at 11am for a tour looking at some of the sculptures in the garden and park behind the house. After the tour, at about 12.30pm, we will go into the Hall for a soup and sandwich lunch in the dining room which dates from c 1770 and retains its original Gillow furniture. We will then have a tour of the Hall with its eclectic display of 18th century and contemporary paintings, finishing at 3.30pm. Cost £45 to include tours and lunch.
